1. About these terms
These terms describe the use of Nexa Credo websites, portals and pension support tools by members, employers and agents. Please read them before creating an account or requesting a service. A service-specific agreement, employer mandate or agent agreement may contain additional requirements. Where those requirements differ, the agreement for that service applies to that service, subject to applicable law.
2. Pension support services
Nexa Credo provides digital tools, pension education, onboarding assistance and related support workflows. Account registration, contributions, transfers and benefit requests remain subject to the processes and verification requirements of the relevant pension provider. A request submitted through the platform is not confirmation that a provider has accepted or completed it. Check the official confirmation and records for the service concerned.
3. Accounts and authorised access
Provide accurate, current information when registering and update it when necessary. Use only accounts you are authorised to access. Employers, administrators and agents must have authority to act for the organisation or person concerned and must operate within that authority. Keep passwords, PINs and verification codes confidential, sign out of shared devices and promptly report suspected account misuse through our Contact page.
4. Responsible use
Do not submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person, upload harmful files, misuse personal information or attempt to bypass security controls. Do not disrupt services, obtain unauthorised access or use the platform for unlawful activity. Submit documents and instructions only where you have the right and any necessary authorisation to do so.
5. Instructions, payments and fees
Check names, account references, amounts and uploaded records before submitting instructions. Contact support promptly if you notice an error; corrections depend on the stage and requirements of the relevant process. Use only the payment channels identified for the service. Any applicable Nexa Credo service fee, payment conditions and cancellation or refund information must be disclosed before you commit to a charge. These terms do not set pension provider charges or replace a service-specific fee agreement.
7. Privacy and confidentiality
Our Privacy policy explains how personal information is handled, and our Cookie policy explains cookies and browser storage. Share personal or pension-related information only through the intended service channels and only where you are authorised to do so. Reading these terms does not itself provide consent for optional marketing or tracking; any consent needed for a specific purpose should be requested separately.
8. Content and external services
Nexa Credo branding, designs and original website materials belong to Nexa Credo or their respective rights holders. You may use public guidance for personal reference; other use requires permission unless allowed by law. You retain your rights in material you submit and authorise its use as needed to deliver the requested service, subject to the applicable agreement and privacy notice. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy notices, which you should review before using them.
9. Availability and account restrictions
Maintenance, technical faults and dependencies on other providers can affect availability. We aim to communicate significant interruptions through relevant service channels. Access may need to be restricted where there is suspected misuse, a security concern or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the restriction and how to contact support. Restricting platform access does not itself cancel pension rights or remove obligations under a separate agreement.
10. Responsibilities and your rights
Each party remains responsible for its obligations under applicable law and any service agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, negligence or defective performance where it cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes any mandatory consumer or data protection right. If something goes wrong, contact us with the relevant reference and a description of the issue so it can be investigated.
11. Updates and applicable law
These terms are intended for Nexa Credo services in Nigeria and are subject to applicable Nigerian law, without removing any mandatory protections that apply to you. We may update them as services change and will identify revisions by the date on this page. Material changes affecting an existing service agreement should be communicated through the relevant channel, with any notice or acceptance required by law or that agreement. Updated website terms do not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
