How Nexa Credo uses cookies
Understand the cookies and browser storage that support account access, remember preferences and help our services work.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can help a website recognise a session or remember a preference. Local storage and session storage are related browser technologies that hold information on your device. This policy explains how these technologies support Nexa Credo websites and portals.
2. Essential account cookies
When you sign in, Nexa Credo uses an access_token cookie to support authentication and a role cookie to help identify your account role when you access protected pages. These cookies support account access and routing. They are configured to expire after 24 hours and are cleared by the sign-out process. Your sign-in session may end earlier if your access token expires.
3. Preferences and browser storage
The platform can store display preferences, such as theme and layout, under app-settings using a cookie or local storage, depending on the application configuration. Language preferences can be stored under i18next or i18nextLng. Account features may also use browser storage to support your session. The information stored depends on the features you use.
4. How long information stays on your device
Cookies remain until their expiry time or until you delete them. Session storage generally lasts for the current browser tab session. Local storage can remain after you close your browser until you clear it or the application removes or resets it. Browser settings and privacy modes can change how long these technologies persist.
5. Third-party websites and optional technologies
If you follow a link to an external website, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. A link does not itself describe the cookies used by the destination. Any optional analytics or marketing technologies introduced on Nexa Credo should be described with their purpose, provider and available choices before use. This notice does not treat browsing the website as consent to optional tracking.
6. Managing cookies and stored data
Use your browser privacy or site settings to view, block or delete cookies and clear site storage for Nexa Credo. You can also choose to clear site data when you close your browser. Instructions vary by browser and device; consult the help menu for your browser. Signing out clears the authentication cookies used by our sign-out process, but it may not clear saved display or language preferences.
7. What happens if you block cookies
Blocking essential cookies or clearing account storage can sign you out or prevent access to protected account pages. Clearing preference storage can reset your display or language choices. You can still use public information pages without signing in, although some features may depend on browser storage.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or use of browser technologies changes. The last updated date identifies the latest revision. Please review this page alongside our Privacy policy for information about how Nexa Credo handles personal information.
9. Questions and concerns
For questions about cookies or browser storage, use our Contact page and ask for the Privacy team. Read our Privacy policy for information about personal data, or visit our Legal page.
